May I throw some cold water on that enthusiasm...Dec 29--Jan 2; Positive press release regarding warrant call I don't see this as a positive. The results are already known and those who didn't know will probably be mildly disappointed with the $4.5M shortfall. This is at best neutral news.Jan 5--10; Possible press release on Darlington #'s ( which should increase eps by .05) I doubt that we will see these numbers until year end numbers are released (probably in Feb). I expect darlington to add $.10/share based on their reported yearly revenue. That would be good and bad news - good: lowers our PE; bad: makes it that much harder for BNGO to show significant eps growth in '98 (taxes, plus higher regulatory fees, plus significantly more shareholders) Jan 13--17; First of several press releases regarding acquisitions This will indeed be very positive news if acquisitions are significant, and occur outside of SC. Further SC acquisitions would receive a lukewarm response IMHO.Jan 20--24; Possible 4th Q earnings release ( should increase eps another .05 or so) Not until Feb at the earliest IMHO. And I don't believe that it will do much to the stock price (unless 4th Qtr comes in low). I doubt we will see any big surprises. I see us at $.53 - $.55 eps (including the darlington acquisition)Jan 26--30 ; Listing on National Nasdaq Market Too soon. They have to file their audited 10-K first. I don't see that happening before the mid February time frame. Then I assume the application process requires a few weeks, at least. NMS Listing is more likely to be an early Q2 event, in my opinion. Finally, don't forget the negative news events. With the SC legislature in session, political posturing for the '98 elections in full swing, and continued activity on the SC legal front, there will undoubtly be plenty of negative rumblings emerging from South Carolina. This cloud of uncertainty will result in frequent profit taking as most investors will be unwilling to just let it all ride. Until that cloud is lifted, I don't see BNGO sustaining a PE of better than 20.
