Bill, thanks for the compliments. Of the four picks in 1997, I made the largest profit on CTXS even though it closed the year much higher. Look at its chart for the year and you will see why. I expect more of the same in 1998, but without the big rebound.

I will look at ACLY for a y2k candidate. Also VIAS and DDIM.

Which is the ugliest stock of them all?

Zitel is still the ugliest stock of them all.

The best short of 1997, will likely go bankrupt in 1998.
Zitel down over 75% this year, could likely drop another 75%.
It is doubtful AOL, AMZN, YHOO, will drop 75% next year.
