Bill,

Unfortunately, my perspective has been drastically altered by what I believe is an impending crisis involving the Y2K issue.

Only now, here in the Washington, DC area, are we beginning to reveal a sense of concern about the ramifications on the Global economy.

Don't know if you guys are interested in discussing this aspect of it, but I would suggest that all of you look at the prices for MSFT Jan, 1998 put options. People are paying extraordinary prices for the ability to lock in equivalent to slightly higher prices to sell MSFT a year from now.

This should scare the hell out of anyone given that MSFT makes up a sizable portion of the Nasdaq 1000 index.

Suggested links to those unaware of the problem include:

y2kinvestor.com

y2ktimebomb.com

year2000.unt.edu

Sorry to cast a gloom on the Big Caps, but there is considerable opportunity with some of the Y2K consulting firms like KEA, IMRS, CHRZ, CSC, CACI, TPRO, and many others.

What do you guys think??

Regards,

Ron
