Hi Doug,

I agree with your assessment of the possible move in APCO. You surely have been watching the triangle form at the top of the chart. The apex has been reached (IMO) and even with the low volume this week the stock wants to go higher. The widening of the MAs seems to validate an upside breakout from the triangle with the triangle base being the strongest support.

My question is: Are you turning the triangle "over" to estimate the upcoming price movement or placing more emphasis on the widening of the short term MAs ??? Just curious which way you are arriving at the price target in the 8's in a week or so. I have been expecting that kinda move out of the triangle apex myself. The technicals certainly look poised to "pop" !

Like the Honda story posted. Ramp up production here in the US thru 2001. Very nice. I expect good volume from the Honda contract. I do also expect APCO to bring on more "ala SAH" type contracts too. There are plenty of large markets APCO has yet to tap.

One more point ..... I have read a few articles recently (seems more and more are appearing lately) regarding investors searching for companies not doing business in Asia (so called Asian Flu). APCO fits the bill perfectly and I expect this will also act as a catalyst for a higher APCO stock price soon. Coupled with APCO's Superman-like resistance to market evils, excellent earnings prospects and topline growth - I can't see why anyone wouldn't want a piece of this stock.
