Obviously Ascend wasn't included because they weren't rated an "outperform" or a "buy" by SSB. Who cares about their stupid rating? The piece should pick out stocks that have been beaten down due to tax-loss selling but still have decent prospects. I don't see what an analyst rating has to do with relevant criteria for good January effect stocks.
