Always enjoy and usually agree with your analyses, including this one. My view is that governments are (almost) always unwilling to cut taxes, because tax money is what keeps them and their cronies alive. The only "tax cuts" are those given surreptitiously (through special laws) to the businesses which financially support the politicians. At least that's the way it seems to work here in the US. I presume it's the same in Japan.

Which leads back to the old saw about reducing government: Cut the taxes and starve the beast.

Zeev So far my preliminary data shows Korea is now producing 36% of the world's 16M Dram.

Do you think Korea will contimue to pump money into Dram fabs ??
