About CBOE quotations on Canadian Options...

1) Not all Cdn Options Quotes are available: try Hum.ca, you'll get "SYMBOL_NOT_FOUND (hum.ca) " error message

2)Some Option Classes May not be available: For example, the CBOE site did not show $15 class for Air Canada until at least 1.5 month after the class was open in the TSE near the Sept option expiry date.

3) Forget writing to the CBOE/PC quote on those concers, as those are Cdn Options, not their primary interest. ( I wrote 4-5 times, but did not get anywhere.)

Delayed option quotes for Canadian options (continued)...

Try the TSE's website at:

tse.com

It is not very intuitive (just exactly what is a 'fully-qualified option symbol?). Page down to the search function, enter TSE option, the stock name, and it returns the option chain matrix. Once you get this far, it does give you some useful information.

After today I'm out of town for the rest of the week. Somebody please keep the lights on here.

Happy trading.
