The guy has no political compass.

Nor a rudder.

Nor a keel.

It's beginning to appear he's likely to capture the R nomination. If so, a Hobson's choice.

Any Democratic candidate insures final destruction of those institutions that made America great.

With Trump, it appears he'd tackle some neglected infections long festering, but might inflict his own set of irreparable damages.

Many are looking for a strong-arm goon to make everything peachy. History suggests that always delivers the opposite. To the extent he might peal back accumulated intrusions in the private sphere, great. Giving Smoot-Hawley another go-around is among his more outrageously stupid proposals. His nasty and childish attacks on honorable people frighten me.

My hopes for an America revival sink further each day.
