As far as I'm concerned, it is looking like we are going to get our dream lineup - Clinton v Trump - in the general.

Clinton will embarrass Trump in the debates. She's very cool under fire; pretty much the opposite of Trump.

Trump sits around and hurls insults but is incapable of putting meat on the bones of his policy "pronouncements". This worked well enough with a foolish plurality of GOP primary voters (among a very divided GOP base), but it is a formula for flaming defeat in the general.

A large number of GOP voters will stay home before voting for Trump. The same is not true for Clinton; any conflicts on the left are greatly exaggerated by right wingers. In fact, the Clinton-Sanders debates have been very friendly, there is no comparing it with the GOP circus we've been seeing (and will continue to see).

Trump will continue to conduct himself like a side show on and off the debate stage; I'm very much looking forward to upcoming GOP fiasco.
