Actually, the opening comment would only make the vast majourity of insiders deal in "off shore accounts". And not report anything. So in essence you'd need ALL accounts to be reported! AKA BIG BROTHER and the NEW WORLD ORDER. Better to loose a few million I think!

Hi Marcos:

The VSE has some major changes planned for their web site. Included in the changes is a "pay per view" section with some of their internal databases put on line. I am not sure what information will be included by subscription (why don't we start a rumour on the rumour thread), but a lot of the stuff you're looking for may be there.

Look for a phased release over this spring, summer and early fall of '98.

David

Hi Marcos. The Brokerage houses should love it. Just think of all the new accounts that would have to be opened - for the girl friends, sisters, brothers etc. We would probably have full employment in Vancouver within 30 days :-)

I guess the downside would be that most of the pump and dump stocks would be eventually go out of business. This could cause a major depression in the country.

Oh well, if you figure out how to get the info, I have a few stocks.......

Regards,
Dan

Marcos, your thread has haunted me off and on for most of the day. I personally cannot offer any way of posting immediate insider trading and am not aware of anyone who currently can. However we do not have to let the thought die. Until we have the info/technology we do not have to be idle.

What say you that we post any info that we come across in our investing/speculating activities that indicate a less than favorable consideration for shareholders. That is we can advise of any insiders that sell at highs while continuing to hype/promote the stock as it drops, misleading press releases that turn out to be false or other activities that we as shareholders find to be immoral if not outright illegal. Also any excessive granting of options, deliberate lowering of stock prices to favour PP's and options, etc. Something else that we can share is the companies lackies/hypsters that post here at SI under fictitious names for their personal enrichment.

Granted, this will be after the fact, but it may just advise/alert everyone to the individuals that abuse their positions of trust as the insiders of public companies. Eventually they may suffer from the reality that some are watching their questionable activities and may be less likely to abuse their positions in the future. What we post here, if accurate, will remain for a very long time.

Your thoughts and that of others are welcome,

Dan
