Paris and London do not represent the totality of Europe.

I've also been to Scotland, Germany, Switzerland, and Italy.

Of course all of these places are beautiful, but even within Europe, I can tell there are vast differences in standards. For example, Germany and Switzerland seem to be closer to American standards than Italy.

France is somewhere in the middle, but the country makes up for it with its charm and culture. Same with Scotland.
