I am talking about places I live or have lived for an extended amount of time, so all based on personal experience and/or knowledge.

That's a HUGE difference from the liberals that visit a country for 1.4 days with a tour guide and mini bus and now know it all. They don't think it matters, but they don't really know all that much anyway.

Taro,
Food prices in Italy are ridiculously low for food, which in freshness and quality knocks the socks off anything found north of the Alps.
I recall the wonderful food in Italy. The tomatoes there, for instance, are sweeter and tastier than anything I've ever tasted in America. I don't know why that is, but my theory is that Italy must have a unique combination of soil, climate, and other growing conditions that lead to such exquisite produce.
