I can't imagine correspondent banking transitioning to blockchains, nor can I envision most people preferring to transact their daily business in essentially a foreign floating-value currency.

It not only makes no sense, it would simply create chaos.

For drug dealers and supporters of terrorism, I can see the attraction of using an untraceable, although fluctuating value currency. It's just the cost of operating that sort of business.
