Re: Nomai, what else?

1. would someone on the thread take a moment to read their Iomega Zip drive warranty. Does it say anything about being void if non-standard media are used?

2. Iomega can easily nip Nomai in the bud by doing 2 things: 1. changing the warranty to expressly state that use of Nomai disks will invalidate the warranty and 2. Creating Point of Sale material stating that Nomai disks could damage the drive and would invalidate the warranty.

Of course, they'd have to have some way of knowing that a Nomai disc was used. I'm sure they have the technology to do this though.

Relax, just another non-event. Remember that just because a lower court might grant a release, a higher court can always reverse it, and with the reversal, can impose steep per unit fines on Nomai.

Thanks Herb, that's EXACTLY what I had in mind. Is it any wonder, I ask, why cRocky hates IOM.

You can't take the heat, ya get out of the kitchen, fool. And it's very obvious cRocky couldn't. It's one thing to trash talk a company because the fundementals reall "suck!". It's another, to trash talk a company because you got burned by it and can't face reality.

What's really amazing, and I'm guilty of this also, is the lame arguments that cRocky comes up with and how everybody tries to refute his claim. What a waste of time!!!!

For now, screw Nomai, enjoy the holiday's. We have new years coming up and a great time to celebrate. I'll be damned if I let this pest ruin my holiday.

Thanks again.
