Looks like Trump figured it out as a part of his campaign. Point is, where were these efforts prior to running for office? Has anyone you know of heard of his Vet philanthropy prior to running for office?

They certainly do accept donations but only for certain things. There is a fellow here in Northern AZ who has raised, over a 10 year period, approximately $200,000 that has been donated to the Prescott VA Hospital.

He is WWII vet, an avid golfer, and true supporter of veterans. His fund raising is an annual raffle which centers on golf trips, gear, etc.
