Thanks for the link Ed. You are getting famous <g>. It was pretty interesting that he concluded the decrease in price recently had something to do with Condon, the AG. I see very little possibility that the legislature will do anything in the near term to eliminate the money coming in from video poker machines. In the first place the politicians have been bought off and in the second place, they are not smart enough to write a law or create a legal argument that will cause any problems for the industry. All you have to do is look at what they have done to date to see what is likely to happen in the future. It will be a cloud hanging over the company, however. The bigger problem is the constant barrage by the press which is very anti-video poker. The industry needs better PR to counter this factor. It is too fragmented to do much, however. Did that guy really get you to talking without saying he was a reporter? He must be good or you listen to calls from strangers a lot longer than I do <g>.

Gee Ed, a celebrity in our midst. Reporters do have a way of "forgetting" to tell you they are writting an article, until after you have spoken to them, don't they. It does appear that the "State"
article still has a negative "flavor" towards video gaming, and suspect that is their "editorial opinion". Perhaps the lobbyists in SC can paint a more favorable picture of VG with some sort of campaign to enlighten the populace to some of the plusses video gaming provides, i.e. revenues, jobs, entertainment, etc.

The article does make you sound like a heavy hitter. <g>
