Given the danger of Trump, I think we Democrats have only one choice when it comes to deciding between Hillary and Bernie, who has the best chance of beating Trump. It is really hard for a lot of us to figure out whether we should go with Hillary, or whether we should go with Bernie. Hillary has command of the entire Democratic establishment, sort of like being the general of our great Democratic army. But Bernie has outlined the needs of society and the social science behind the solutions much better than Hillary and that is why so many of our greatest intellectuals have endorsed Bernie. But in the end, as so many keep saying, defeating Trump has got to be job one.
