To everyone:

My daughter and her husband went to the Chicago Bulls game last night. Prior to the game they dined at the Rainforest Cafe in downtown Chicago. They arrived at 4PM; there was a 2 hours and 10 minute wait. I had given them a "head of the line pass" so they were able to get seated in 5 minutes. A patron wanted to know how they could get one (they even offered to buy it).

Dennis, if you read this and need some cash to pay for Christmas, just stand outside the restaurant on a Saturday night; you can make "big" bucks selling your passes.

Happy Holidays Everyone,
Toby

Roger and threaders,

Roger, what a coincidence as I was at the Orlando RFC that very night with friends and family(we were visiting from Ohio). We arrived at 7PM with a 3 hour wait being reported. I presented a shareholder pass and requested reservations for 7 without any grief(pass is printed that it's good for up to a seating of a party of 6). The girl was very curteous and said they were behind and to give her 10 minutes to move some more people through. I was registered as "SHAREHOLDER' and asked not to venture away from her podium area. We were called closer to 25 minutes and advanced to the elephant room line which contained 20 people or so. We were then sought out from the end of that line and seated first which not only surprised us but the people at the head of the line who of course promptly posted a verbal complaint and inquiry. We barely discerned them mouthing in a barely audible tone, "oh, they're stockholders..."

Anyway the service was fantastic(Gary), food hot, and a totally enjoyable experience for our Florida local friends. I did witness the turnover of an adjacent table of 6 in a matter of minutes. The gift area was a little slow, my 14 year old bought a $40 sweatshirt marked down 20%, was one of six people standing in that line. In all fairness to them, it was a terrible latter part of the week in this part of Florida with heavy rains (3" in Orlando that day) and sevaeral tornado touchdowns(trailer parks of course) which would keep some people away. Add to that that the temperature was near 50 and it is not a pretty retail environment. We would not have been there had it been for the fact the Omni hotel would have kept our deposit since they have a 72 hour policy on cancellations(about the limit of weather forecasting accuracy?)

Best of Luck in the New Year

Aaron
