Sorry, but I have a hard time taking your "concern" with AMD's "broken promises" seriously (lol) when you don't seem too concerned about Intel's constant stream of mobile promises/failures

Whether or not I am concerned is not the issue. The points I raised should be of concern to AMD investors as they are factors in AMD's continued existence. You seem to have partially answered the question though here:

B) will survive, and C) will benefit disproportionately from the graphics-heavy AR/VR revolution that's about to hit...

If I understand you correctly, you believe that AMD will survive and do so on the basis of AR/VR. Is that correct? If so you apparently do not believe that Zen is critical to AMD's survival or the issues I raised would be of more significance. Correct also? If AMD can survive without a Zen success, was it a mistake to plow so much money into it's development in the first place? These all seem like reasonable questions if you or anyone else wishes to respond.
