Wow, seriously? That's pretty amazing. I bet he got too busy running his hedge fund to post here after 2001. He ran Scion Capital, I think, the one that actually made $700 million on the default swap trades during the debt crisis of 2008-2009. Scion Capital ultimately recorded returns of 489.34% (net of fees and expenses) to the wise investors who stuck it out.

Burry is/was astounding. One of the very first to figure it all out, and paid the price for it until it all worked out eventually. Went to med school in neurology and has a doctorate degree, a glass eye, and Asperger's Syndrome. I could give more detail, but read about him yourself in Michael Lewis' book "The Big Short" or see the film. Highly recommended if you don't get offended by anger, heavy sarcasm (but very funny), strong language, a little nudity, and some sadness as well.

Read about Burry at Wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org

Yes, I looked up a couple of those facts (like the 489.34%, lol), but I remembered a lot of it from the book and movie.
