JOEBT1:

LGND has not kept up with AGN or the AMEX BTK since early Nov. LGND has done worse and has been more volatile since that time. Perhaps the newly acquired LGND shares that went toward covering short positions (it decreased in half during the last month) are all that will be tendered. I would guess that the rest are now in stronger hands and that we should start seeing a turn around. The daily and weekly momentum charts (MACD) have bottomed according to my charting software.

Although Mr Market thinks otherwise, I remember a short while back when $18 was supposed to be 'undervalued'.

The real question to ask in order to determine fair value is 'at what price would you sell?' -- Since there was a lot of selling at 14-15, I would state that fair value at this time appears to be $15.
