Dear James, you will find that Shalom is utterly opposed to the idea, and seems to think we are off our rockers if we believe the Lord will not watch from heaven as we are all wrenched assunder and roasted, basted and boiled in hot fat*. And that we simply will not get out of here until after that takes place.

I do not make light of it for foolish jest, although I think we all need some levity around here from time to time, but I just think that arguing any thing about a taking up out of here is stressful to Shalom who DOES NOT believe such will happen, and it is a loggerhead, I suppose, of scripture.

It is my feeling that the rapture crowd SHOULD be free to discuss the "rapture" idea and scriptures with others who happen to have a strong belief. And discuss the "signs" which point to this being the time one way or another on Shaloms thread. That way we would all have safe havens and places to discuss the things we love without putting anyone else on the defensive to correct us.

Again, that also gives the threads a chance for non-believers to ask questions or observe and learn, rather than watch confusing debates they probably don't understand to begin with.

Your idea on that please?

*(from a very funny line in a monty python movie, and forgive me for having such a "dark" sense of humor, but I do.)
