Re: Why are you even talking to me about Trump's donations, or lack thereof, to the VA if you personally have never attempted to make one, or even donated one minute of your time to assist a disabled vet. I believe you misunderstand me, I do recall criticizing Trump's contributions or lack thereof. As a matter of fact I am one of the folks in this small town who supports our veterans. The following is not to brag but to demonstrate that I have and do support our Veterans. 1. I established and continue to run our local Veteran Day celebration every 11 Nov. 2. I contribute annually to my friend John's campaign to assist the Vets at Prescott VA. 3. I served on our first "Welcome Home Viet Nam Veterans' celebration some five years ago. 4. I serve on the WHVV committee which will bring the replica wall here from 30 Mar to 03 Apr. 5. I've recorded our WWII veterans, 10 years ago. for the local historical society. 6. I've participated in the creation of Veterans Service Park. 7. I'm a life member of the VFW and support their local efforts. Etc, etc All funds for the celebrations are raised from contributions. No unit of government sponsors our efforts although the City does provide space in City parks for the celebrations. I, fortunately, have not needed to use the services of the VA and admit I do not understand the issues that users face. I simply try to help where I might. I choose not to be in the limelight when John raises funds for the Prescott VA. I'll follow up with him and see how he gets money to the disabled vets in Prescott. RonM
