Gipper , you've hit on a point of reality. Any reputable merchant
will not knowingly sell a deficient product. The margins are too
slim, the liabilities too great and the benefit too little.
We are going to sell disks anyway, why sell disks that we know
won't work ? ( not only the lap top drive but also other drives that
I believe will also be manufactured to reject Maomi disks. )

These guys can't believe that they can pull this off particularly
knowing that they are already incompatible with the lap top version.
I think Ed is right, they're looking to shake down IOM.

I don't like the idea that IOM's property is being copied but I feel that
this issue is still controllable by IOM and, would be disappointed if the
knock-offs weren't forthcoming. I'm of the opnion that only the best
products get raided, Microsoft, Intel, Disney, etc, etc.
My money says that they will overcome these minor irritants.
