Good Morning Jane, I wanted to respond to your post because I like Alan do not like the term Christian at all. Even though I am heavily involved in Churches it still makes me cringe inside. It represents the cultures brought into the faith and denies the original title of Messiah that is why I prefer Messianic as a title if one is necessary. To me Christian is the same as being called a Catholic, Baptist, Morman, Jehovahs witness, Nazi, etc... The term has been used by too many that clearly DO NOT FOLLOW JESUS in any way and I don't want to be identified by that. If we were in the first Antioch Church without all this craziness around I would be delighted because people would associate me with true believers. Even some people on this thread I would not want to tell anyone we are in the same belief that is what we are saying. Paul also called himself a Jew and an Israelite and so did Peter so I don't think you can find scriptural grounds for Alans choice. The only offense is that people don't want to accept that there are any Jews left and that Israel is not the Country that exists and they have to deal with. In a way it is part of their Amelineal view coming through. The verse given about the disciples being called Christian it was a term the people gave them they continued to call themselves Jews. Personally it is the way you live your life that is really how you are identified if you hate people according to 1 John you are a liar and a hypocrite and God is not in you, so when you hate and claim you are a Christian it is confusing to the entire world. If you love people and say you are a follower of Jesus and do this in His name then you are on the right track. But I tell you when we witness to Jews which we are most of the time the term Christian brings an immediate association with Hitler and murderers. That we all know is not what a Christian is but non the less we have to overcome the misuse of that title every day. Mr. Anderson which is an Amelinealist and full of hate claims he tried to kill my satanic children for Jesus Christ because he loves him so much and that Tim Mcveigh loved Americans more than most because he killed the traitors that work for the Jewnited States. So if you want to be identified with those theologies go for it but Alan and I prefer to take the time to explain what we believe rather than use something that is so misused.I have never heard Emile say that what Anderson did was wrong, he said earlier that God used the Holocaust as a punishment for Dueteronomy 28 and it would not surprise me if he believes this was Gods will not satans. See the theology is a hair apart and like I said if you read the letters I have you would think he and Emile were the same author.
