"with a little bit of heat treatment, they’re able to get nuclear-grade graphite"

I guess his definition of a little bit of heat treatment includes a bake of over 2000 degrees
I hate to think what he considers a lot of heat is.

The problem is that CCB never revealed how much heat treating was involved to get to "
nuclear-grade graphite" nor how much cost/Kg was involved. The cost involved to purify the samples might exceed potential revenues. We have no idea if the Miller graphite project will be profitable because we don't have all the information. Purity is wonderful but "cost to market" will determine if CCB can make any profits. Even the "marble credits" might not be enough to overcome the heat treating costs. The PEA should settle this issue when/if CCB produces one in a couple of years. Until then talk about "a little bit of heat treatment" is premature.
