That's a rather silly post. Highest pay raise in 5 years? Obama was president during all of those 5 years, one of them was going to be "the highest". Even if he wasn't highest in 5 years is short enough period not to be very meaningful.

Also giving raises to the military isn't a presidential power, there has to be legislation to give people in the military a raise.
