Yes it should prove interesting. I checked it out this morning, added it to my bookmarks; but with my fetal knowledge and lack of certainty spared you my ursine outlook. ;-)

I hear the government talk of a strong economy, low unemployment, etc., but from where I sit in the healthcare delivery system, and from talking to those I meet professionally, tales of our wonderful economy are B.S. It is difficult to imagine Maine, although a poor state, is not a sample of what is going on all over the country.

Because you asked for it -- I am of the opinion that 1987 will appear like a trip to Disney Land compared to 1998; equity indexes should fall along with LB interest rates below 5%. True deflation.

A cataclysmic precipitant, in or from the Near East, seems increasingly possible to this observer.
