Earlie, I must make a correction. Tom "the best there is" Kurlak is not just "smart"... ...he's "incredibly smart". And after 20 years as an analyst, need I even add that "he's been there" <g> The opens on 12/24 looked like: shorts: TXN 44 3/4, MU 25 11/16, NVLS 31 3/4 longs: LU 77 7/16, CA 49 5/8 CA took a real beating towards the end of the day Friday. Since we're supposed to defend our picks in the vein of Street analysts, the make-believe analyst in me would opine as follows: "merely profit-taking". The trader is thinking - "hmmm...down 3 on Tuesday, followed by two days of weakness towards the end of the session...what if it's not just profit-taking on thin volume?" What can I say, buy and hold for a month just isn't my knitting right now <g> Good trading, Tom
