I've been enjoying the thread links and commentary. Just a short term thought, today was the end of month where some funds finish selling off their unwanted holdings. 1st of the month is often a relatively strong day for buying, as those funds who have been dumping often start the process of shifting their portfolios and tend to start fresh positions. Slight decoupling of the SP500 with oil today. Oil stayed positive while stocks sold off. Could it be related to the end/beginning of the month adjustments?
