Rosemary...Adding percentages across the table for Apple, Compaq, and Dell, I get 98%, 95%, and 100% respectively. I didn't see a disclaimer as to the accuracy. Is it a + or - 5%? Doesn't 5% matter? This table is very suspect, IMHO. Perhaps I'm missing something here. Stephen

Rosemary,

Some of the numbers don't add up to 100% either. But the link is shown below, click on it then you have to select "Investing Dec 23", then you have to select "The Eastern Exposure". It looks like Dell's total exposure to SE Asia + Japan = 7% which is the same as we've heard elsewhere.

I hope you and all the folks who post on this thread had a great Christmas"bears & Longs"..
I've been checking things out and Dell is not in trouble..All hell would break out and cnbc would have a field day. We are going to reap the January effect and the market is going to remain bullish. I've learned a lot this year and I'm ready for the new.I own Spaz , Dell ,Cpq , Amat , nvls and Aetg. I got out of Diig with a small profit.

I'm in the buy & hold mode and will stay there untill the techs make they're come back. I dont think Asia can afford to get too far behind on technology and the semi eqp makers will come out smoking. There will be some bargin huntint and short covering Very soon and we will continue on our way. maybe a few bumps but the dow is headed up. 1997 was a great year for the market and the techs are on sale. The big buyers can hold untill these Asian problems are bye bye.

I think Cpq is priced beautiful and they're going to rally this week and guess who will be on they're coat tail.

Dont listen to all the noise because I know for a fact that it will screw you up. Check out Nvls
