Is it a function of distance or rock formation/capture/entrapment during the purge? You see, when all that stuff was transforming from one phase to another at various temps and time durations .............. you would get the pooling or disseminated patterns based on it. Distance relationship to veins and pods? Nope, nothing to it,imo. Ask yourself, are the disseminated crystals of the same morphology as the crystals in vein or pod? It should help you understand the whole deal.
