depends how you look at the project. If you look at it from a point of view of source to tentacles like an octopus which is the way all vein systems supposedly made. Where the Octupus's head is the pod or source.
OR
You look at what we have found so far which is the the tentacles and not the head. So the head fed the tentacles and the tentacles disseminated into surrounding rock. Until you find the source you are tentacle chasing.
