I would think people today have access to all this information at their finger tips. Not the surprises like 40-50 years ago people finding out too late that smoking leads to lung cancer, drinking leads to liver failure ect.. anymore. You make a great point and I would agree any change that happens would be in small increments with free market making the desired shifts but being fought all the way by the old guard protecting their profit margins.. People so much more empowered today yet don't take advantage of it. Spread between the haves and have nots also widening when it comes to health.
