8 of 11 Remaining Co-Ops on the Brink... ......you really have to wonder when, having never bought insurance before, I could take one quick look at the costs of advertized plans from Health Republic Insurance of NY and conclude something just can't be right. Then 5 minutes of further investigation found that Health Republic Of NY was a newly set up govt. funded non profit COOP and I predict they will go bankrupt as soon as the subsidies stop. Then the money flow stops and right on cue Health Republic folds. Over $1B down the rat hole. Where the hell are our political "leaders"????? It's hopeless folks. .
