He can't tell a joke very well either, even one that's funny. I recall Reagan, the great communicator, had been a professional actor, then spent decades giving speeches before he even ran for office. By the 1970's and 1980's he was really really good. Cruz is only 45, in 20 yrs he might be a better communicator too.

Cruz is my second choice. But I think his true calling would be an Appellate, Federal or Supreme Court Judge. A good place to pontificate.
