Maybe someone is pacing a bet based on this info......do they have inside info that Teck will proceed or are they just gamblers like the rest of us. Not long to find out March 27th (30 days after Feb 26th) appears to be the deadline for Teck and all of Copper Fox's shareholders.

Foxy may be proved right (gasp) or it will be the straw that broke the camels back.

Confusing.....this is the biggest piece of Copper Fox news since the feasibility debacle of 4 years ago and there is hardly any discussion on the topic on any of the boards. Weird

Ok, I'll start and for once I am going to feed you all one of the positive spin angles.

Copper Fox needs around $20 million in 2016/17 to advance Van Dyke ($16.6 million), to sustain CarMax for two years and to pay salaries ($500k/Year) and expenses etc.

They can either dilute shareholders 25% or they can collect $20 million from Teck on a production decision. I am sure that Teck would have rather waited until 2017 for any decision/announcement on Schaft Creek but it appears the government has done the impossible and is forcing Teck's hand. They have until March 27th to reveal what colour underwear they have on.

Someone appears to be betting on a 'yes' vote. Could be David Macdonald returning to the game?

This is a crucial time for Copper Fox's future and we will all know 'soon'....not in Elmer's definition of soon but in 24 days worth of soon.

Buckle up folks.

Not sure how I missed your post, but very interesting. Thanks for posting. We now have something that this project has not had since the JV - some sort of a deadline that must be met.
