Any financial institution will use different brokerages to do it there by not exposing the fact it is a single holder. The TMX offers this under Products and services.

I had a family member who had investments who passed away over a decade ago. The other family member who was executor of the will contacted the bank, and the investment branch sold the various securities in a single day. Was a fair sum of money too.
