Thanks for the long article also Greg ....
I think the writers thinking is a little unbalanced on one point , he state that Korean chip makers costs have dropped so they will have an advantage over companies like Intel . They do not seem to be able to differentiate between Chips and Chips . Yes the memory makers such as Micron will be affected by the competition unless they have a new product in the offing , but since when did the korean chip makers offer a product that competed with Intel's main product ?
The profitability of Intel , AMD and Cyrix are dependant on the three companies and not on Korean cos.
