This is not a management team that would sell out for personal gain. They have always been extremely conservative, and likely felt some extreme challenge to going it alone. Again, I believe this related to Toshiba woes, and believe a major landscape change will be seen over the next five years. I originally intended to vote NO on all my Sandisk shares, but have come to realize that Western Digital shares now have far more upside potential. Which is why I've established a major position over the last couple of weeks in the 42-46 range.
