Feels odd...

After first investing in M-Systems in '99, sold in '05 then back in Sandisk in '09, then sold everything today, I end up having no shares in that great NAND company.

But I did buy WDC today so I might get some back pretty soon :-)

Quite a journey indeed !

For the value to be greater, WDC would have to be above $79.59. In the long term, this is a no brainer. I have little concern over the leverage. Upon merger completion, SanDisk cash will pay off a portion of the loan. And there will be enough free cash flow to both quickly pay down the loans, and to continue the dividend.
