Much better for terrestrial viewing. Mine inverts, and I don't have a rectifier adapter. I also don't have a motor drive, which really helps at larger magnifications. Just a budget scope, and light enough that I can lug it outside for viewing when my mood aligns with the stars. I always feel more hopeful and humble when observing the heavens.
