You of course assume that Compaq sells very little to corporate America - perhaps you should inquire as to Pentium II sales in their corporate, workstation and server markets.

The retail sales of Compaq range (seasonally) from 15% to 20%. This includes MediaGX sales, Pentium MMX, Pentium II sales and (now) K6 sales. Do not project their whole corporate attitude based on this one market segment. You will be ignoring 80 to 85% of their business - most of which sells for significantly higher prices than the retail products.
