Anybody out there work for Harley?
Is the floor crew union?
If so which one?
How about management, is that working environment agreeable?
I understand they have the Kansas City plant cranked up now. I think that is where they build all the Sporsters (please feel free to correct me).
I have owned Harley for 3 years and have doubled my investment, which if you think about it is easy money. It was even more so at first, for those that don't know I think the IPO was around 10 bucks in 86, and went to around 60 twice and split, and again last fall around $52.( again, feel free to correct me)
After watching it go nowhere but up for 8 years I decided to jump in,
I take that back, seem like around 1990 something set it back from around $60 to the fortys in one day, could have been earning or a scandal, I don't remember. Maybe someone out there does.
Never the less these bikes are real popular, the Japanese are nuts about them, and they can't get enough in Europe. I live in Korea and much to my surprise, our equivalent of the Highway Patrol uses them.
Most of the bikes here are 125cc Daelims, when one of those Harleys roar down the street, you ought to see the heads turn, you would think God Zilla just stepped over the horizon.
