CUU folks took some profits off the table as the day progressed. 1.2 M shares traded and down a penny from open after the spike. I think it would need some decent news about Shaft creek to drive price.


Russia and the Saudis have agreed to freeze output at the current level. As the economy picks up so should demand a bit. We could see crude settle into the $45 / 50 range by the time Ft. Hills starts production.

Crude up nicely $37.98 US at close today. Ft Hills would be in profit at that price, good for Teck going forward.

Some exploration drilling to take place this year in the Triangle by two or three companies. At least it is looking up a bit from the last couple of years.

I agree with mudguy. even though this might be mothballed far as teck is concerned i still think there is a bit of money to be made trading here as long as the market rally continues
