We also have the 3rd highest per capita national debt at $59,000. We also have, certainly by a huge margin, the highest per capita unfunded liabilities, somewhere between $300,000 and $500,000.

GDP is of many measures which, if taken alone, would be misleading.

Vast quantity vs. Swiss Quality, for sure.

How about checking national debt/capita? Same story - but then again, as Obama (and Krugmann) assure us, "that really doesn't matter".
Of course they are right, because in their plans that debt will never have to be paid back.
Rather than that we will inflate our way out of it.

Kind of interesting, that Switzerland seems to be run on other principles, they must be dummies.
