It won't make any difference. They have their own, parallel media, pundits, "experts", etc. There is a whole ecosystem devoted to telling them what they want to hear. The more it diverges from the reality that everyone else shares, the better. That just means they are getting the "truth". Look at what happened when The Big Dog was president. They concocted a who pile of "truths" that no one else saw. Like the Clinton Pile o' Bodies. All it took was some connection, however tenuous, between the Clintons and someone who died and obviously the Clintons had them killed. How tenuous, you ask? Like one of the Clintons happened to be in the same town some short period of time before the victim was found dead. The "why" was often unaddressed, except for that is what the Clintons did. They were powerful enough to compel other people to do their dirty work and no one ever leaked the information. Because they were/are evil enough to do it. And things have gotten even worse since then. While evident back in the Clinton days, the ecosystem has expanded to the point where it is possible to base an entire career around feeding misinformation into the maw of the machine. So a former, half term governor of a lightly populated state can start out being solidly middle class and rise to being an influential, multi-millionaire on the backs of sweetheart book deals, TV shows and highly paid speaking engagements just by saying and doing outrageous things. The rise was so fast that her family still acts like they are living in a trailer park, with brawls at parties, out of wedlock births, petty vandalism, etc. We have lost them for a generation. Trump is using the mechanism they set up to make a try for the White House, but they will just respond by making things more hermetically sealed. When forced to deal with the real world, they will respond by drawing even more inward. Eventually it will explode and leave the rest of us deal with them like any other ex-cult member, but there is still a lot of money to be fleeced from the rubes. They have a long way to go before the rubes wake all the way up.
