Longnshort, six of the top ten worst cities for the so-called "middle class" are in California.

And five of them are in the inland areas, away from the coast. They are the blue-collar cities in California, the ones that rely on manufacturing and agriculture. Both of these industries have been decimated by the policies in Sacramento because they cater to the rich liberal elitists along the coast.

This state truly is the worst to live in for the middle class because of its high cost. But the state can afford to continue being the most liberal state in the union because of all the high-tech, Big Pharma, and Hollywood money flowing in.

If the problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money, then California is a long way from that day of reckoning.
