Trey: Here is interesting figure on HFC. Cable actually passes 90 million homes in the US today with 60 million subscribers. 1/3 of the homes passed don't even use cable for TV programming. 30 Million lines sit and wait for HFC upgrades that won't even generate revenue. When a cable provider upgrades a neighborhood 33% of the home aren't going generate revenue for basic cable-TV programming, not to mention cable modems.

So when we are talking about the percentage of HFC, we really need to go off the 90 million lines passed. For 10% coverage, cable needs 9 million lines passed by HFC. For 15% coverage HFC needs 14 million lines passed... until later.
