To ALL: FORBES article about CPQ - company of the year. Would help for PC's bulls at the beginning 1998.

Kemble, I may buy if I see DELL can win in the SERVER market.

I believe selling PCs alone is not enough to make good money
anymore. The pricing is the concern. If ctx/legend/Korea churnk out
low price P-IIs, the ASP is on down trend.

The NC is not a come and go thing. The reason for this time is
probably caused by MSFT's monopolistic gesture to the world.

WinXX is 'all of me and none of you environment', MSFT leaves
the corporations with no choice but find their way out with NC at
the time the technology is maturing enough to make it possible.

There is no reason to have duplicate hardware/software on every PCs.
winXX is not designed to accomodate that.

I rather be late than early to buy in DELL/CPQ even knowing the
January effect is coming.
